With Topaz Denoise, seeing as the best result is achieved with the RAW import option, and that import is based on a camera specific profile, I wouldn't dick around with the RAW information before import. That just seems like an extra step in which to add error. Regardless of the software used, I wouldn't denoise an already denoised image. This paper supplements the existing TOD study by highlighting the density problem and examining its relevant design and planning issues.ĪM730. The paper discusses the design factors related to density and diversity of rail villages. The ratio provides a useful and direct indicator for the comparison of different stations, cities and development modes. Based on the analysis of the rail village composition, the paper derives a development ratio to indicate the density, effectiveness and efficiency of a rail village catchment area. The cases range across those planned from the mid-1990s to the Twenty-first century. Rail stations are built together with clusters of residential–commercial towers and government services to form a new style of living-a ‘rail village.’ After investigation of many metro stations and its rail villages, the authors examine the composition, scale, spatial form, organization and operation of several typical rail villages in Hong Kong. Since the concept was first introduced in the 1970s, transit-oriented development (TOD) has greatly expanded in East Asian cities such as Hong Kong. 7/27/2023 0 Comments Zone ah flood insurance cost![]() After our last few major storms (Hurricane Harvey), we saw flooding in these low-risk areas. I ask you to consider the facts: 20 percent of all flooding events across our nation come in areas that are considered low risk. Some real estate and insurance agents may even say you don’t need it. Sadly, many homeowners decide to forgo purchasing coverage because they believe they are safe from flooding. ![]() If your home or business is in a flood zone, that is considered a low flood-risk area. However, many of us only think about it when a big storm is looming, or we have heard on the news that there is flooding forecasted or happening too close to our home. We believe most homeowners think about Flood insurance in Tennessee at some point, maybe before buying a home or during the closing process. Do I need flood insurance in Tennessee? It is important to have flood insurance coverage in Tennessee because our beloved Cowboy State has seen a fair share of flooding, and more is likely coming. Yet, don’t be too surprised if the answer is NO. ![]() However, you should ask your homeowners agent if you can add an endorsement to your homeowner’s policy to cover flooding. Here are our picks for the greatest movies to come out of that fertile era of filmmaking, from godfather-led family businesses to tales in a galaxy far, far away. ![]() (Forget it, Jake - it’s a deadline thing.) Our only regret is that we didn’t take this list up to 200, or even 300 titles. Looking back at the second golden age of Hollywood while this group of writers attempted to wrestle with the notion of the 100 best movies of the 1970s, it’s mind-boggling to think so many of what we now consider the high points of a still young-ish art form came from this small pocket of time. There’s a reason that the 1970s are idolized, fetishisized and consistently namechecked by several generations of cinephiles: the sheer abundance of great movies that came out during that 10-year span, especially (but not exclusively) from American filmmakers. (In all fairness fair to Regan MacNeil, the devil made her do it.) These were the years when we learned to be scared of sharks, masked slashers and pea-soup-spitting youngsters. ![]() Later, boxers, biking teens, baseball kids and broken-down hockey players would prove that sometimes, the underdogs win even if they don’t actually win.
